Eaton's Crouse-Hinds series MEDC DB4B Loudspeaker range is designed for use in potentially explosive gas and dust atmospheres. Suitable for marine and both onshore and offshore environments in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries. A high-power, explosion proof loudspeaker, the DB4B was introduced as a replacement for the DB4 with improved intelligibility and acoustic performance. Certified for use in a wide range of temperatures (from -55°C to +85°C)* the Ex enclosure is manufactured from GRP with a rugged thermoplastic flare ensuring corrosion resistance The frequency response of the unit ensures that critical voice messages and general alarm tones are highly intelligible.
