Eaton's EnergyAware UPS
8:58
Eaton’s EnergyAware UPS allows data center operators the ability to do more than just consume energy. Nick Baileys, Energy Storage Product Manager, explains how the EnergyAware UPS is the first solution that enables data centers to contribute to renewable energy and generate revenues from necessary investments. The solution puts data centers in control of their energy, choosing how much capacity to offer, when, and at what price, while helping energy providers balance sustainable energy demands. Nick discusses how EnergyAware optimizes extra stored energy to reduce peak demand, considering utility rate structures and time of use rates. Finally, we also demonstrate Eaton’s 9395P EnergyAware UPS that is helping to energize the Power Systems Experience Center (PSEC) Pittsburgh location.
