ACE Automotive-Grade Common Mode Chokes
0:58
Eaton ACE series common mode chokes are optimized for noise filtering on data lines in vehicle connectivity modules and support standard CAN bus and Ethernet communications as well as Flexray and BroadR-Reach® protocols. ACE common mode chokes are manufactured using an automated winding process that provides very tight winding control. This leads to parasitic capacitance that is stable from lot to lot, resulting in excellent and consistent filtering performance. The chokes are offered in standard 2012, 3225, and 4532 footprints and with a wide range of common mode impedance values. They are AEC-Q200 qualified and have a maximum operating temperature of 125°C, ensuring safe and reliable data communication for ECUs, infotainment, ADAS, autonomous driving, and other applications throughout the vehicle.

What are film capacitors?
1:57
Metallized polypropylene film capacitors use a polypropylene dielectric with a thin layer of metal deposited on it. This film is then wound around a core, leads are attached, and the capacitor is enclosed in a plastic case.
