0:00 - CSR Overview 0:20 - Metal Foil/Metal Film 0:36 - Metal Plate/Metal Strip Eaton offers a broad portfolio of current sense resistors, leveraging multiple resistor technologies to meet the accuracy, power, and cost requirements for a variety of power conversion and power management applications, including AEC-Q200 qualified products for automotive and high reliability applications. Eaton MFL, MFH, and MFS metal foil resistors feature a metal foil resistive element on a ceramic substrate, which results in low resistance tolerance for high accuracy current measurements. These offer high thermal conductivity, low inductance, and low noise, with power ratings up to 3 watts. Eaton MSM, MSN, MST, and MFF metal plate resistors feature a metal alloy plate for the resistive element, providing resistance down to 1 milliohm while maintaining power ratings up to 3 watts to measure larger currents. These also have a low TCR for stable resistance over wide temperature ranges.
