ACDL Automotive Dual Class D Inductors
1:03
Eaton ACDL automotive dual class D inductors increase power density and efficiency to improve the performance of Class D audio amplifiers and power management circuits in automotive applications. The ACDL family houses two inductors in a compact and robust SMT footprint. The ACDL1V 10 millimeter molded inductor offers the widest temperature range and soft saturation for higher current applications, while the ACDL2V 12 millimeter ferrite inductor offers lower DCR and higher efficiency across a wide frequency range. The inductors are offered with values up to 33 microhenries and current ratings up to 9 amps. The high power density allows designers to improve filter performance while reducing design size. Eaton ACDL inductors are AEC-Q200 qualified and ideal for audio amplifiers, bidirectional DC to DC converters, EV battery chargers, on-board chargers, and multi-phase electrical systems in xEVs.
