The ADE1FC is a widely approved cable gland for use with non-armored cables and includes a compound barrier. Suitable for IEC IIC gas groups and NEC Class 1 Div 1 installations and with many cable types the ADE1FC offers a range of materials and thread options to cover all requirements. Available as gland only or in pre-packed kit form for ease of ordering. 0:09 Install the appropriate sealing washer 0:13 Assemble gland into correct threaded housing 0:19 Tighten to ensure sealing 0:27 Remove body from gland to access the compound chamber 0:35 Cut out IP protective seal 0:42 Verify cable dimension and gland are matched 0:47 Verify cut dimensions for cable 0:50 Prepare cable following method recommended by manufacturer 1:01 Pre-assemble body onto cable 1:09 Prepare sealing compound according to instructions 1:13 Remove all packaging 1:27 Mix by hand until compound is a uniform color 1:33 Place a ball of compound between conductors 1:39 Add compound around conductors 1:44 Slide compound chamber over compound 1:56 Insert assembly into hub 2:03 Tighten body to retain compound chamber 2:13 Tighten the sealing nut
